People responsible for marketing a business know for sure how complicated it can be, and more now than ever. In fact, it can be a big overwhelming mess, that can leave you with the feeling of not knowing what to do next, or even where to start!
The list of marketing “to-dos” is so ridiculous these days, it’s crazy! If you have ever read any type of marketing articles or have taken any online marketing courses then the list of what you should do would look something like this:-
- Have a modern (and mobile friendly) website built
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on your site
- Make sure you are correctly listed in GMB (Google My Business)
- Write regular content
- Post social media content on Facebook, instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn etc.
- Write a blog
- Build an email list
- Write and distribute press releases
- Run Google ads
- Run Facebook ads
- (and don’t forget to run retargeting ads!)
- Contact “Influencers” in order to do some “Influencer Marketing”
But what if that could all be simplified into one simple step?
Before I reveal it though, just consider this… Why was email the absolute best form of marketing for so many years?
Because people always checked their emails. And right now, and for the foreseeable future where is people’s attention? Where do they spend most of their time?
On their phone!
Isn’t it nuts. There are more approximately 7.6 billion people in the world, and most of them are on messenger apps owned by Facebook. (Remember Facebook also owns Whatsapp and Instagram as well as Facebook and Facebook Messenger!)
Also check out these stunning stats:-
“The fact is that 95% of all messages will be read within 3 minutes of being sent, with the average response time being a mere 90 seconds” (source Viber)
So if that’s where people’s attention is now. Then that’s where you should be. Did you know that if you have a Facebook Messenger chatbot, you can get people to subscribe to your chatbot…
…And once they are a subscriber you can send one message to everyone of of your subscribers at the same time. This means that if you have 100 subscribers, you can write one message hit send and all 100 of them will get the same message immediately. The same applies if you have 1,000, 10,000 or 100,000 chatbot subscribers!
